“When considering entertainment for my client appreciation party, I did not think a band was even in the cards, given most can only offer one genre of music/one type of sound. I wished for a band that I knew had a combination of true musical talent, showmanship, and a repertoire of songs that were timeless & appealing to any musical tastes. Then I stumbled across Smooth Sailor and their take on “yacht rock” in the summer of 2016. I knew had to secure them immediately. In fact, I centered the entire theme of my client party around them performing, creating a luau theme. Being a former musician and avid fan of all types of music, I tend to be a little too critical when it comes to musical acts, cover/tribute bands in particular. Not with these guys though.
