Frankie Mincey hails from Columbus, Georgia. He began his music career as a singer in the church chorus. By high school his exceptional voice earned him spots in the AllDistrict and All-State choirs in multiple years. He also made the prestigious Men’s Quartet which won the Georgia State Championship.
By age 22, Frankie formed a band called “Frankie Mincey & The Georgia Gentlemen” where he serves as guitarist and lead singer. At age 23, Frankie joined the B.B. King All Star Band and began touring the world playing on cruise ships and land venues. Then at age 25, the manager for Charlie Wilson saw him sing and play guitar, keyboards and drums during a jam session on a Caribbean cruise that Charlie Wilson was headlining and took note. Not long afterwards, Charlie signed him to a 15-month contract. Now at age 29, Frankie still fills in on tours and plays with his own band.
