A little about these acts….
Christie Huff is a soulful-voiced country/pop artist storyteller who brings a pop touch to her soulful sound. She’s an LA girl now, but she attributes her country background to growing up in Arizona. Performing both as a solo acoustic artist and with her band, Christie is well known in LA and Nashville for her high energy shows that showcase her amazing voice, unique songwriting talent, and engaging personality. She has toured throughout the Southwest and Midwest and has opened for several big-name artists including Jason Aldean, Toby Keith Billy Currington, Kip Moore and Bebe Rexha.
Dez Duron is a singer/songwriter from Shreveport, LA and New York City. Dez garnered national attention on NBC’s hit show The Voice, Season 3, becoming a top 8 finalist and the final contestant on Team Christina Aguilera by meshing Jazz and Soul influences with Pop sensibilities.
Matthew Schuler has grown to find a voice that has touched millions. In Fall 2013 he auditioned for NBC’s 3-time Emmy winning singing competition show, The Voice, making it to the top 6. Upon auditioning Matthew received one of the fastest 4-chair turns in the shows history and was hailed by performances such as Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah" which hit #1 on the iTunes singles charts as well as #40 on the billboard rock charts. Since The Voice Matthew has performed all over the country opening for the likes of Diana Ross as well as around the globe in Jamaica, South Africa, and most recently Germany.
Will Champlin is a two-time Grammy Award Winning Songwriter, a top 3 Finalist on The Voice Season 5, performed on Micheal Jackson’s last record, toured extensively with Glenn Frey (Eagles), Santana, Billy Ray Cyrus, and in the summer of 2018 he toured with the legendary rock super group Poison, playing keyboards and contributing backing vocals. He has millions of YouTube views. Under the new artist name ‘KillWill’, Will just surpassed 100k on a recently released international progressive house anthem known as ‘Chasing Fire’.
We are hosting our third virtual music festival on Houla Entertainment’s Facebook page on Thursday, May 14th at 7:30 pm ET. This event is FREE to celebrate year-end FINALS and will have amazing music by three amazing R&B/Soul/Funk/Pop/Top 40 acts. Each artist will perform approximately 20-25 minutes each.
We will be giving away prizes after each performance. You will need to register at virtualprogramming@houlaentertainment.com to be in the prize drawings and you will need to be present to win. A little about these acts….
Adam Emil is a former member of the 90’s super group, Color Me Badd. Adam toured with the I love the 90’s tour and has traveled nationwide with scheduled performances by Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa, All-4-One, Adam Emil, Coolio, Tone Loc, Rob Base and Young MC. His music has been heard on Chicago ED, BET’s Hit the Floor, and VH1’s Single Ladies.
UCHé was a top TENTH finalist on American Idol Season 17. He has performed with Kool & The Gang and Shaggy and has opened for Pop Star Demi Lovato and Grammy nominated rapper, B.o.B. UCHé released his first single “Whatever”, post American Idol, with Bootsy Collins. He was featured in Billboard magazine https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/8548327/american-idol-uche-bootsy-collins-whatever.
Jackie’s Boy is a four-time nominated, one-time Grammy Award winning singing/songwriting/production duo with his brother. He has written hits for Madonna, Justin Bieber, Flo Rida Lil Wayne and Chris Brown to name a few and have went on to sell over 16 million albums. He has a Grammy nomination with R&B album of the year with work on Charlie Wilson LP. Jackie’s Boy’s newest single “Do It Again” is featuring Shawn Stockman from the legendary group, Boyz II Men.

Houla Entertainment has launched the first of several virtual festivals called “FINALS MUSIC FESTIVAL.” These festivals will host numerous extremely talented music acts, with a comedy hosts that will have you laughing through the festival! The first festival is scheduled for April 30, 2020 at 7:30 pm ET and will have several artists from The Voice and America’s Got Talent, as well as, ultra-talented, multi-instrumentalist, female artists that will amaze you. Each festival will take place on Thursdays at 7:30 pm ET on Twitch on Houla’s page: https://www.twitch.tv/houlaent.

We are thrilled to welcome Abby Shaw to Houla Entertainment. Abby will be interning with us starting at the end of January through the end of May.
Abby is studying Journalism and Electronic Media at University of Tennessee – Knoxville with a minor in Music Business. She plans to graduate in May of 2021 and plans to pursue a career in radio.
